I'm back on my hobby horse concerning electric shower units (tankless=20
heaters). I've seen one for sale from HK called a Boss Life BSK-A58 I.=20
According to my research it has a CCC, I've been to the Chinese=20
certification website and it seems to base its standards on IEC=20
publications.=20

I'm wondering if anyone here has any thoughts on how reliable the CCC=20
marking is in reality, and if many manufacturers in China just pay lip=20
service to it and bung the sticker on.

As delicate parts of the anatomy may be exposed to a water/electricity mix,=
=20
I'm somewhat wary of certifications I'm not familiar with.

OTOH it is only AU$169.00 including freight, so buying one and taking it to=
=20
pieces to check it is a possibility.
