I would have agreed with Peter - about a 1/4 century ago. All the=20 analog circuitry I worked on before that time did indeed have bipolar=20 supplies. But all things shall pass and bipolar supplies more or less=20 have. I certainly love having bipolar supplies for op-amp circuits but,=20 well, I have not used them in at least 25 years. Out in my garage is an=20 analog computer but it has lost lots of its relevance.
