Same here, back in Ireland I was using RS couple of times when I needed few
hundreds of capacitors and resistors in a hurry -- Can't remember if they
used any Irish store or shipped from the UK but they were very fast and
never asked me to pay extra for shipping costs even if they split my order
into few separated deliveries.

(Downside is that they were a bit pricey)
