> Unfortunately, I receive no output from /proc/kallsyms > It says like this try more /proc/kallsyms Stuff you see in ls are files, or act like files whether they are or not.=20 When you start a command with a file name it is assumed that file is executable, which kallsyms is not. Listing out (with cat, more, less or whatever) lots of the fines in /proc are pretty instructive. Things like meminfo, cpuinfo, partitions can be pretty interesting. BUT* - this thread begs the question - ultimately what are you trying to accomplish? The direction this thread is going leads me to suspect that you asked the wrong question. BTW - I find df -h more useful for seeing the block devices than fdisk, which is kind of scary. But in a very limited system df might not be there. --McD --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
