Wrote a small (and very messy) python 2.7 script for anyone

Dependencies: sox, lame, mp3wrap in your PATH

The script works very well and makes use of all 8 cores on my system
for very fast MP3 encoding. I'm sure it can be applied to other
formats/options if you mess around with your encoder executable and
its settings.
