Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a source (preferably UK based) for what might be termed=
 a "reverse" right-angle (left-angle? :) ) IEC connector, or complete mains=
 lead with UK type 13-amp plug?

Maplin and Farnell stock some which turn left (with the flat side of the IE=
C pointing up) as they exit the mating connector (the male receptacle), but=
 I need one or two which turn right on exit to tidy up the cables on a HP l=
ogic analyser.

Long story short: the analyser has been turned 180 degrees so the back pane=
l is now the front. If I have it the other way round, the scope probes are =
too short to reach any part of my workbench...


I did find this gem while digging through the Maplin website:

 Do people really fall for this stuff? (although I bet those cables will ta=
ke a decent beating before the insulation starts to fail..
perhaps they should be selling them to pet owners instead)
