I think most of this class of computer is doing wifi via USB modules, even =
in the case where the wifi is built in.  (eg "Chumby.")

Have you considered the extra-tiny (PICO-ITX/etc) x86 systems like the VIA =
"Artigo"?  Well over your desired price point, but includes case, power sup=
ply, and other niceties.

There is "Beaglebone", a stripped-down BeagleBoard (except that audio seems=
 to be one of the things that was stripped.  Note that a USB audio device i=
s cheap...)

My main complaint is that the "hacker board" is more expensive than full ch=
umbies (which include case, display, wireless, powersupply, etc), if you ge=
t them when they're on sale.  If they're still for sale :-(

Larger PIC32 chips are running 2.10bsd - would that count?
