There's a link to an HVP version that works with the 16F84 on my site. I had pretty much abandoned the project because it's easier to find a unicorn than it is to find a PC with an actual parallel port. I'm still working on my USB serial port based "Code dumper" for bootstrapping bootloaders. I have a working prototype that will dump code=20 into 16F193X parts. It uses an adapted version of Frank Sergent's Python bootloader and a current version of PySerial as the software interface. I haven't published it because I haven't generated a schematic, and I'm not really prepared to support it at the current time.
