Hosting companies use single machines like this to run thousands of=20 sites at once in mass virtual hosting setups, that's how they can offer=20 it for crazy prices. When you outgrow that first server, you'll be able to think of crazy=20 schemes to get multiple servers doing the work. If you really just=20 needs high throughput downloads then something like Akamai or EC2 are=20 going to be far more efficient.
