I was reading about someone who'd collected all the Christmas

One the comments (which now seems to be unseeable) said that
big-sellers of the past, even 78s, are not worth that much

You see that in auction houses and Antiques Roadshow too. Like
everything else, the more there are, the lower the price

Even wax cyclinders aren't that expensive

If it's unusual, eg mis-labeled ("I've Got You Under My Sink),
promotional pressing etc it might be worth more
