Subject: [OT] Looking for an Autocad "like" program - free and easy

Finally moved up to win7, but my CAD package that ran under DOS (its
that old) will not run under Win7 or the virtualXP window (it does run
under winXP.  I like it (designCAD) because I've used it for so long
that it takes me only minutes to draw something up.  I have the windows
version but its not as easy to use.

So I attempted to install XP on the new laptop (HP G7-1260) after
resizing the volume to give a 100G partition for it, and then running
the XP install it crashes before it gets to the actual installation
part.

So my options are:

1. wipe the drive and install XP...then install Win7
2. Keep my old machine for the CAD program
3. Find a new free and easy to use CAD program.  I need to be able to
import/export DXF from it.
