If its D3s Nikon then you are reading the chart wrong. :-) A D3S full frame Nikon is THE best low noise / high ISO "35mm"camera in the wold bar none - by about a stop. D3s is about 3 x less noisy than top APSC camera Achieves 30 dB SNR, 9 EVS 18 bit at 3250 ISO Top APSC does this at about 1180 ISO. My new A77 =3D about 800 ISO !!! :-( - but utterly superb otherwise. Pelucid mirror makes a notable difference. NEX7x with same sensor is better= ..
