By the way, isn't MPLAB-X the only way remaining to use pickit2 in linux, to program newer pics? Seems like linux version of pk2cmd is quite old, device data file from the newer (windows) version says it needs newer pk2cmd. Currently I had a problem to program 12f1822, pk2cmd does not recognize it.
