Recently I've seen a reel of wire that has female pin sockets
attached. So for example you could cut a length off of this reel and
plug onto a standard 0.1" pin header with one end and plug the other
into another header.
I'm not sure if this description makes sense:

0>socket>------------wire--------<socket<0

But they're chained together on a reel, i.e.
socket-wire-socket-wire-socket-wire so they're quite versatile.
Does anyone know where I can find such a thing? There was no
manufacturer listed on the part that I saw.
