::The 30 GB SSD is running out of space, and I'd like to migrate (by=20 ::copying the partition) the Windows 7 partition over to a larger hard=20 ::drive and expand the partition. Note biased writing here. So long as the motherboard and RAM are not being touched, you can clone=20 your drive to a new one. Not free, but I would suggest you look at Acronis Disk director or if you=20 want to make images (for recovery purposes) of drives look at True Image=20 2012 which will also clone. However, I'm an MVP on the Acronis forum, so am biased. There are other=20 software offerings out there both free and paid for. I haven't tried the=20 free ones, but other paid ones are Paragon (who I believe do a free=20 version) and O&O Software. The Acronis ones will resize the partitions to match the new drive size if= =20 you wish, either automatically or you can choose. If you have any questions on the Acronis stuff, send me an email off list.= =20 I am Colin B on the Acronis forum.
