This may interest some.

I found at DealExtreme an USB AVR JTAG programmer/debugger for $9.99
(shipping included).
Much cheaper than my AVR Dragon ($49.90 plus shipping)

Much smaller than the Dragon and plugs directly to the USB port, no USB
cable needed.

They say it works seamlessly with AVRStudio.

Ordered one just to see if it works. When it arrives (in a month or two)
