Hi all, I'm planning on using standard unshielded (for now) Cat5/5e patch =20 cables to run I2C signals and power between 2 boxes, over a length =20 ~15ft. Looking for thoughts on how best to organize the wires in the =20 cable to minimize noise effects. Of the 8 conductors, 2 will be =20 power, 2 ground, one SDA, one SCL, one other signal. Since these are set up as 4 pair(s), would it make a difference if I =20 run the SDA/SCL signals on one pair, or should I split up the SDA with =20 one ground, SCL with another, etc? Cheers, -Neil. --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
