The Dremel with rotary tool may make too wide a slot and not completely straight. Besides it is easy to loose control and scratch your board. There are small hacksaws that use very thin blades (no more than a sewing thread). I have one of German make that the thinnest blade is just 0.2mm wide and the teeth cannot be seen without the help of a magnifying lens.
