I can understand being upset because they wouldn't honor the flier price. And I can somewhat understand removing yourself from the mailing list. But, if this is the first time something like this has happened, I wouldn't=20 jump to such hasty actions. I'm not saying I condone this type of business=20 conduct, but I wouldn't cutoff a relationship with anyone or any business=20 for one mistake like this. The difference is only ~$40.00. =20 I remember the first 20MB HDD I bought. It was over $400.00. And some years=20 later, I bought a 1GIG for about the same amount. The the first 4 Gig for about=20 that same amount. Now we're talking HUNDREDS of GIG for less than $100.00. I wouldn't squabble ovr $40.00. But that's just me. YMMV. =20 Regards, Jim > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Re: [OT] Buyer beware > From: John Ferrell > Date: Fri, November 11, 2011 1:39 pm > To: piclist@mit.edu >=20 >=20 > On 11/9/2011 9:08 AM, Carl Denk wrote: > > Yesterday I ordered from MCM Electronics, one Western Digital 360G, > > SATA, HDD , regular price $86.00, and from 2 sales fliers $46.99.
