I keep reading and hearing about how the PICkit3 is somehow much=20 worse than the PICkit2 - and I just don't get it. My coworker and I have been using both the 'kit2 and 'kit3 and we=20 both much prefer the PICkit3. Its much more stable with MPLAB under=20 Window XP - we don't get any of the flakiness that the PK2 occasionally has= .. Keep in mind that many of the people who don't like the PK3 are using=20 a non-Windows platform. I can definitely understand their=20 frustration with the PK3 - many of the cool apps written for the PK2=20 just aren't available for the PK3 - yet. However, if you are using MPLAB with a Windows platform, I think that=20 the PK3 is the better way to go. dwayne --=20 Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax www.trinity-electronics.com Custom Electronics Design and Manufacturing --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
