I have had all sorts of odd issues when sharing any of the programming=20
pins with another device while doing programming. Sometimes I would have=20
to power cycle the board, sometimes I had to remove the programmer and=20
power cycle the board.

In short I don't think it is a good idea to have anything on the=20
programming pins when developing. I install jumpers between any devices=20
that need to use those pins after programming .
