Glad I saw this topic started on the PICList. If I am not mistaken these=20 are the very first 32-bit microcontrollers in a hobbyist-friendly (DIP)=20 package!! I had my reservations about the PIC32 (Cortex seems to be the=20 wave now), but this can change the hobbyist world. One missing piece for me is C++ support. Anyone knows what Microchip is=20 up to? --=20 Wouter van Ooijen -- ------------------------------------------- Van Ooijen Technische Informatica: www.voti.nl consultancy, development, PICmicro products docent Hogeschool van Utrecht: www.voti.nl/hvu --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
