Looking at a Spartan 3E FPGA, which costs around $10, and the smallest
Virtex 4 which costs around $150, why is there such a big difference in
price between these two families?

Also, when will the new Kintex and Artix chips be out? They claim Virtex 6
performance at less than half the cost.
