While the authorities are uncertain about the numbers regarding people passing away, I can say that situation is not good. The region that earthquake took place is mostly villages and fields also there is urban civilization as well. I know that buildings over there are not that solid and people are not that aware about natural disasters as well. I contributed as much as I could financially in the borders of my power. Also like the rest of Turkey, population at Van is mostly children and young people, this is the downside. We all wish the wounds are healed asap and they get right back on track. Btw, I believe Russell mistyped the date which is 23rd of October. It's not that hard to mistype one character when reporting a devastating event like this. On the other hand, despite all the mourning, I can't deny that it would be really interesting if this was reported 10 days ago.
