Yes, I use it for ICSP of 18f and dspic33 and it satisfied my expectations. My main concern was native linux support thus I gave it a try and still using. Very compact/functional and never returned an unexpected behavior. You can give it a go, an alternative option would be a Brenner8P9smd, very similar to usbpicprog.
