I have used Automotive head lamps in the past. They are kind of rubbery=20
as far as controlling them but they served my purpose.

Also, a piece of wire works well if you monitor the temperature as you=20
go.  Your 12v X 12A =3D 144 watts, not too hard to dissipate.
