Sorry for the delay in reporting back. First thoughts: it's really tiny! the screen is about the size of a quarter which, unfortunately, for my old eyes is too small to be useful. the buttons and menu system aren't terribly intuitive. I realize that there isn't much space to work with so it's probably not a fair criticism but still every time I try to use it I just get confused. So yes, cute toy, but no to actually useful. The biggest test is that I had it up in the corner of my "working" breadboard, the one I use for all my little test circuits, but eventually it got moved off and hasn't been moved back, unlike some of the other boards that constantly find their way back on to the breadboard.
