Thanks guys. It does make sense what are you saying about the costs and non open design + firmware. Was just looking around as with ICD2 and even with PicKit2 sometimes can find a very interesting modified hardware. BTW here in the UK an ICD 3 is starting at about =A3120 and PicKit 3 is fro= m about =A330 -- so it seems to me that ICD 3 is 4 times more expensive, but = as you guys said it still worth it as I have never heard of any good things about PicKit 3.
