I'm looking for software that allows visualistion (or calculation) of magnetic field strength with arrays of "a few" permanent magnets. There are numerous general electromagnetic field software packages available, both free and for money, but they tend to be either too low level or highly oriented towards complex electromagnetic applications - and are also liable to have a reasonably significant learning requirement. What I want to be able to do is to specify magnetic 'strength' and dimensions and then "push things around" to see what happens. A GUI would be good but a numbers only solution would be OK as I can plot as required. Any ideas? Yes, I've written something rough and ready myself but time per result is not looking good. Somebody must have done this already. Russell __________ Emworks Excellent.
