I forwarded this to my partner in crime, as he spent a week debugging
and pruning the existing PIC32 Ethernet code into a functional library
that actually works on an Ethernet starter kit. The supplied code was
bloated and buggy, so he may as well get some reward for tidying it up
if his entry is accepted.
