Hey all, I politely asked Microchip if they could donate me a REAL ICE for my university projects (for professors, that could potentially get published). They said they'd look into it, but there's no guarantee I'd get a REAL ICE. If not, I'll try and get them to send me an ICD3. I googled for this information, but I'd like to know what you guys think about this: What are the real (practical) differences between the ICD3 and REAL ICE? Is the REAL ICE really worth its $300 more than the ICD3? What extra features would I get? I'm aware of the high speed trace and stuff, but what else? I'm serious about PICs, so either one would definitely be worth it for me, free or not. --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
