No line filtering? I getting fed up of "modern" circuits where they don't bother with=20 proper elimination of RFI generation. Are people not supposed to use the=20 Radio any more? I took apart a few SM / Electronic ballast Phone chargers and CFLs=20 recently. A 4uF electrolytic with 2cm leads is not an RFI filter. LW is particularly badly affected (of course they don't have that in=20 Japan or USA), but LW is only AM source of RTE R1 in Ireland UK and only=20 AM source of BBC R4 in Ireland and parts of UK where FM doesn't reach. The UK and Irish regulators are only interested in maximising revenue=20 from selling spectrum. Even to splitting spectrum that should be a=20 single wholesale block for efficient use. The CE mark has become a joke. It certainly doesn't mean gadgets, lamps,=20 Enthernet over Mains or chargers meet real EU RFI standards. --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
