No! I am using PIKlab on linux generally. It fits best for my
projects. I managed to compile PIKlab for using 16F1829, which is one
half of the work. The other part is gputils which is not support this
PIC yet. That is why I started to use MPLABX. MPLABX support 16F1829
and its brothers and I could transfer one of my project form 16F690 to
16F1829.
