Hi Alan, That might have been me. I used the BlueGiga WT12 in a project and was quite happy. More info here: http://www.bluegiga.com/WT12_Class_2_Bluetooth_Module Basically it's a module that communicate via serial to the PIC. What's really great about it is that the on board firmware allows you to configure the built in stack for different modes. I needed HID mode, but I think it supports over 10 others. Their tech support was decent, and the manual pretty good as well. Hope that helps!
