It's hard to fake, too!

I suspect that's a major reason that people dislike such books and =20
classes.  It smells too much like "how to trick people into liking you =20
and accepting your views and decisions whether they're correct/good or =20
not."  Politicians do that; science and engineering are supposed to =20
stand on their own merits.  (not that they do, or are likely to, if =20
those merits are poorly communicated.)
