Since all the turns are clockwise (or anticlockwise) they all contribute (o=

respond) to the magnetic field in the same direction. Where a given turn is=
=20
laterally makes little difference to the total effect, so sawtooth or=20
triangle will both work fine. Triangle allows for a much neater (denser)=20
packing of the wire on the core.
