Hi all,

I have a rough idea I want to test, which requires basic DSP of audio.
Ideally I would like to be able to do it quickly/easily, so a uC with=20
ADC, DSP and DAC would be useful.
Through hole would be good for even easier throwing together, but not=20
too important - e.g. input -> opamp -> uC -> opamp -> output.
The resolution, sampling rate are not too important, just something that=20
does basic audio processing for quick proof of concept, then I can look=20
at switching to e.g. FPGA or faster DSP uC later on)
  I do have a couple of dsPICs here, but with no on board DAC which=20
would be very convenient.
I'm ordering some other stuff right now so quick comments on the best=20
dsPIC for the job would be appreciated - so the question is are there=20
any latest offerings I should be aware of?
