C is very powerful, but actually not a true High level language, it's=20 more an advanced Macro Assembler. The objections to original advertising blurb was not really specifically=20 about BASIC as such, but the idea that some how the major selling point=20 is to describe a 2011 product as a 1980s BASIC product on Steroids. A=20 off putting description.
