Microchip MPLAB 8.x is near their end of life and the future is MPLAB X. It seems that IDEs become too complicated that many MCU or MCU Compiler companies start to move to established IDE like Eclipse (many, like ARM and MIPS, TI, Freescale, etc), Netbean (Microchip MPLAB X) and Visual Studio Shell (Atmel Studio 5). Of course some leading independent compiler vendors like GreenHills, IAR and Keil are still using their own IDE. --=20 Xiaofan --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
