I tried to wire up an external power supply to a coolpix camera to take time lapse shots over a long period of time. With the current 3.7 v Li-Ion battery it lasts about 4 hours taking a shot every 30 secs. However it does not power up when connecting the "-" and "+" to a 3.6volt psu (which outputs 6.0v unloaded and does not drop when connected to the camera). I then realised that the "T" terminal obviously used during battery discharge. I assumed it was only used during charge, Any idea what this T terminal is for. Can I just short it to the "-" terminal. The measurements currently are. Between "-" and "+" 4.09V Between "-" and "T" 0.0V Between "T" and "+" 4.05 V Also, this coolpix S200 has a failed flash function. I remember there was alot of discussion regarding using camera flashes. Any pointers on where to start with regard to repairing or should I just consider it beyond economical repair (for a hobbiest).
