Thanks a lot Michael. I would require some time to understand your logic. And... why not PIC18F4550?..... Actually I am just starting and you know it= s the universal starting problem... I have already bought two 16F887 for experimentation. That's why I opted fo= r that only. If you suggest PIC18F4550 would be better choice for my application requirement, then I would surely try to go in that direction. Not only PIC, if some other (AVR, or MSP not others) would be better choice then please suggest. However, please keep in mind that, the learning curve and my situation (a beginner).
