Another question while I'm at it... We had a meeting the other day where there were a few questions raised=20 about how we should pass research/information between ourselves. We are currently trying the free version Evernote (and excel/email) but=20 it doesn't quite cut it. I am not sure we should bother paying for the full version either as I=20 am sure there has to be something better out there. We have tried One Note, which I like but it seems difficult to share=20 anything without using Microsoft services (not such a big deal, but=20 would like to avoid proprietary schemes for this type of stuff if=20 possible - I haven't looked into it much though so I may be wrong) Security is not a big deal for this. Useful features for us include: Select/right click to note in browser Able to merge a pile of notes into one Ability to handle excel, pdf, images, sound, etc Ability to perform some formatting - tables, bullet points etc. Simple maths (a la One note) Must have features: Share notes between users easily/automatically email notification/export You probably get the idea. Time to learn is a big issue as we don't have any :-) Something intuitive and useful (preferably no bloated ad infested=20 toolbar type stuff, just simple and efficient) So what do folk recommend? I personally like the "idea" of an open/free tool for this but will=20 consider anything if it does what we want it to. --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
