I too have a Mexican Strat and I like the sound. I also have an American Start, and it too sounds good. I am not a professional musician by any stretch of the term, but I do pretty well. I used to have a program that ran on a PC and would act as an effects box. However, I haven't used it for some time, and I don't even remember the name of it. But when I get home tonight, I'll looka and see if I can find it. If I can, I'll let yo know tha name, and if it's still available.
