I have pentodes. all less than 10mm x 44mm They work as triodes if you=20
earth anode and use G2 as Anode :) Tehy are 50c each.

Probably not even then.
In 1970s/1980s they replace them with transistors. Early two transistor=20
inverters are very like vibrators with simply an extra CT winding to the=20
two bases. PNP transistors of course
