I'm sure I recall seing and hearing about this research some years ago,=20 but according to the BBC website Oregon State University have 'discovered'= =20 how by using chalcopyrite blended with an ink type carrier they can=20 'inkjet' the active component onto a substrate. Only producing solar cells with a conversion rate of 5% efficiency at the= =20 moment compared to 15-18% using traditional methods of a coated panel.
