I'm convinced it a loss leader for them: For $30 you get four +-10V
differential channels at 10 bit resolution and up to 240Hz sampling. In a
case, with screw terminals, with a USB cable and a screwdriver. I doubt you
could buy the parts in single quantity for the same cost.

It's been several years since I played with their software, but it was
pretty easy to capture and dump to excel. The even had a some tools so you
could control the unit strait from excel.
