You are free to become a PICLIST admin and help direct it's course. Or you= =20 could set up your own mailing list and let your subscribers do anything=20 they want on it. But think on this: if the only people who are allowed to post on your new=20 list are professionals with lots of experience, where are all the=20 interesting thought provoking threads going to start. I mean, it's all=20 well and good people asking "what chip has these markings" or "recommend a= =20 PCB fab" but I can't see an expert asking "how to measure the current=20 flowing into a battery" and things like "cutting a coke can" would be too=20 off topic to even consider. The PILIST is what it is because of ALL its subscribers. It's not just the= =20 intelligent professional responses that make the list an interesting place= =20 to lurk, it's also the "stupid" questions that provoke these responses.
