Hi Michael,

I've added a 1K resistor in series with the Enable pin. Seems to have
helped quite a bit. Are you suggesting a 2K2 resistor on just the
Enable line?

I don't have any decoupling caps near the LCD at present, but I will
be designing some into the board that the module will live on. I might
even add a footprint for a serial to parallel shift register...for
when I'm short of pins on my processor.
