Even so, there's still flicker. The moths got into a bag of oats in
the larder and bred. We had a plague of them for a few days
and their wings were strobed as they flew in front of the TV (a
traditional phosphor screen). Interesting to see them apparently
float when in fact they were flapping like mad

7-segment latches would be flicker-free
