Can't answer that question (but how will he see any replies?)

VB is my tool of choice for other people to use but for quick
tests I use Bray's Terminal program which has 24 button to which you can=20
assign serial strings or characters (ASCII/HEX etc).
Replies can be displayed in ASCII and/or HEX.
